A birthday party on a boat turns a familiar dinner reservation into a full day at sea. With a private charter, the boat is yours alone: you choose the music, swim in quiet bays and cut the cake on deck, at anchor or at sunset. How the Day Runs
A standard trip runs from about 10:00 to 18:00. A typical Gocek birthday looks like this: decoration is completed before you arrive, you board at 10:00, swim in a first bay by mid-morning, have lunch at anchor around 12:30, spend the early afternoon in a second bay, then bring out the cake around 16:30 before an easy cruise back to the harbour. Decoration, Cake and Photographer
On request we arrange balloons and banners, a cake sized for your group, flowers and a photographer who can join for the cake moment or the whole trip. These items are priced separately from the charter and listed clearly in your quote; all details are finalised during booking. Drinks policies differ between boats and are confirmed in writing before your trip. Most boats carry a sound system for your own playlist; since Gocek's bays are a protected area, volume stays considerate of other guests at anchor.
Prices and What Is Included
Crewed day boats start from roughly 300 to 700 Euros, and motor yachts typically run 800 to 2,500 Euros per day. Crucially, private birthday boat rental is priced per boat, not per person, so a fuller guest list brings the cost per head down sharply. The boat, captain and standard route are included; organisation items and catering vary by boat and are itemised in every quote. July and August are peak season, while May, June, September and October are usually gentler on the budget.
Choosing the Right Boat
- 2 to 6 guests: a compact motor yacht or small day boat for an intimate celebration.
- 6 to 12 guests: a classic day tour boat; capacity in this class is usually 10 to 12.
- Larger groups: a gulet or large motor yacht with a big dining table and generous deck space.

Good to Know
A small beach bag covers the day: swimwear, towels, high-factor sunscreen, a hat, soft-soled shoes and a light layer for the cruise back. If you plan a surprise, hand gifts to the crew on arrival and we keep them out of sight until the cake comes out. The captain watches the weather before and during the trip; if the sea picks up, the route shifts to sheltered bays, and on the rare day a trip cannot run, we reschedule together. In peak weeks of July and August, and whenever decoration and cake are involved, booking one to two weeks ahead keeps every option open.
