Plan Your Blue Cruise

Weekly Yacht Charter

Gulets, motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans for a one week sailing holiday. Seven day sample routes, season advice and a clear breakdown of costs.

A weekly yacht charter is the real Blue Cruise experience: moving from bay to bay and waking up to a new view every morning. A full week gives you time to swim without hurry, spend nights at anchor in unspoilt bays and truly settle into the rhythm of the boat. The yacht is exclusively yours for the week, so the route, the menu and the daily pace are built around your preferences.

As a TURSAB licensed agency based in Gocek, we know our fleet in person and recommend verified options that match your group size and budget. From your first message to the moment you step aboard, you deal with a single point of contact.

Seven Day Sample Routes

  • Gocek and the Gulf of Fethiye: Departing Gocek towards Yassica Islands, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Sarsala, Aga Limani and the Oludeniz coastline. The sheltered gulf makes this the most comfortable route for first time charterers. Boats departing from Gocek are ideal for this itinerary.
  • Marmaris and Hisaronu: The Kumlubuk, Selimiye, Bozburun and Datca line. A week of discovery through small fishing villages and calm gulfs. Browse Marmaris yachts.
  • Bodrum and Gokova: Kara Ada, Cokertme, Seven Islands and English Harbour. Steady winds for sailing lovers and lively evenings ashore. See boats departing from Bodrum.

These itineraries are examples; your captain refines the plan with you day by day according to the weather.

Planning by Season

  • May and June: The sea is warming up, the bays are quiet and prices are gentler than midsummer. The best window for early season deals.
  • July and August: The hottest and busiest weeks, with the sea at its most comfortable temperature. Early booking is essential for the good yachts.
  • September and October: The sea stays warm, the crowds thin out and the sailing winds are at their best. One of the smartest choices for the balance of price and comfort.

Crew and Cost Items

On a crewed weekly charter the captain and crew handle the cruising, anchoring, cleaning and the galley. Your only job is the holiday itself. When budgeting, allow for the charter fee, fuel or APA, food and drinks, any private marina nights and a crew gratuity at the end of the trip. On bareboat charters a licence and proven experience are required, fuel and provisioning are yours, and a security deposit applies.

If you are undecided between yacht types, compare the options on these pages: gulet charter, motor yacht charter, sailing yacht charter and catamaran charter.

How Prices Take Shape

The main drivers of a weekly rate are the yacht type and age, the number of cabins, the crew scope and the week you choose. The same yacht can differ noticeably in price between early June and mid August. The most reliable approach is to send us your dates and group size and receive a few clearly itemised options, so you compare real photos, cabin layouts and real prices.

How Booking Works

  1. Tell us your dates, group size and preferred yacht type.
  2. We send suitable yachts with photos, cabin plans and exact prices.
  3. After your choice, the contract is signed and the week is secured with a deposit.
  4. Before the holiday we finalise the route and menu preferences together with your captain.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a one week yacht charter cost?

Weekly rates vary widely with the boat type, length, age and season. Bareboat sailing yachts usually start between 2,000 and 5,000 Euros per week, crewed gulets commonly range from 8,000 to 30,000 Euros, and the luxury segment goes higher. Send us your dates and group size and we will quote exact prices.

What is included in a weekly charter price?

On crewed yachts the boat, the crew and the yacht insurance are included. Fuel, food and drinks, harbour fees and crew gratuity are usually separate. On bareboat charters fuel and provisioning are up to you and a security deposit applies. Every quote lists the scope item by item.

What is APA?

APA is an advance provisioning allowance used on crewed charters to cover running costs such as fuel, food and harbour fees. It is typically set at 20 to 30 percent of the charter fee. At the end of the trip the expenses are itemised and any remaining balance is returned.

Which yacht type suits us best?

Gulets suit larger families and comfort seekers, motor yachts suit those who want speed and luxury, sailing yachts are for guests who love sailing itself, and catamarans offer space and stability that families with children appreciate. We help you settle on the right type for your group.

Which day does a weekly charter start?

Standard weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, with check-in in the afternoon and check-out in the morning. Outside the peak season other day combinations are often possible.

Is the route fixed in advance?

No. Sample routes are for planning only; your captain updates the programme with you every day based on the weather and your wishes. The only rule is returning to the agreed harbour on time.

How far ahead should we book?

For July and August weeks we recommend booking two to four months ahead, as the best yachts fill early. For May, June, September and October, four to eight weeks is usually enough.

Is a weekly charter suitable for children?

Yes, it is one of the best family holidays there is. For families we choose stable yachts, shallow sheltered bays and safety details such as life jackets and safety nets. Crews are experienced with children on board.
