A bachelorette party on a boat solves the one problem every land venue has: other people. Once you leave the harbour, the deck, the music and the programme belong to your group alone; no shared tables, no closing time, no strangers in the photos. The same logic applies to a boat bachelor party, and we plan hen and stag groups with equal care.
As a TURSAB licensed agency based in Gocek, we know these boats in person, so instead of a long list you get two or three that actually fit your group size and party style.
Why a Boat Beats a Venue
- Privacy: The whole boat is yours for the day. Games, speeches and surprises stay inside the group.
- Photo value: Turquoise bays, a white deck and sunset light need no extra decoration; a photographer can be added on request.
- One venue, whole day: Meeting point, party, food, swimming and sunset all happen in one place.
A Typical Day
The group meets at the harbour; if there is a surprise, the decoration is finished before the bride or groom steps on deck. A short cruise leads to the first bay for music and photos, followed by the first swim stop. Cake and catering are served at anchor in a calm bay. The afternoon is for bay hopping, games and sunbathing, and the day ends with a sunset cruise back in the day's best light. A shorter afternoon-to-sunset format is also possible.
Choosing the Boat by Group Size
Day trip boats carry 10 to 12 guests and are the best balance of price and comfort for most hen and stag groups. Larger parties move up to gulets or big motor yachts with more deck space, while small groups of four to six friends often pick a boutique motor yacht. Our daily yacht charter page covers how a private day charter works.
Price and Budget
Crewed day boats start from about 300 to 700 Euro depending on size, type and season. Two rules make budgeting simple. First, the price is per boat: divided across the group, the cost per head is usually reasonable, and it drops as the group grows. Most groups split the total and cover the bride's or groom's share together. Second, extras are listed separately in the quote, so the full budget is clear before you commit.
Music, Drinks and Ground Rules
Most boats have a sound system for your own playlist. Music is played with respect for other guests in the bays; Gocek is an environmental protection area, and the captain tells you where the volume can go up. The drinks policy varies by boat and is confirmed in writing at booking. Swimming always follows the captain's call, and life jackets are on board.
Common Mistakes
Booking late is the classic one: hen and stag parties target summer weekends, which fill first, and decoration or photographer bookings need a few days of lead time. The second is under-reporting the headcount; capacity is a legal limit, so give the exact number from the start. Finally, keep the decoration boat-friendly: confetti scatters in the wind, while balloon garlands and fixable decor work well.
How Booking Works
Send your date, departure area, group size and party style. We reply with two or three suitable boats and clear prices; a deposit confirms the booking and details are finalised at reservation. Most groups depart from Gocek; you can browse Gocek boats there. If boat celebrations appeal beyond the party, the same team organises birthday on a boat and marriage proposal on a boat.
